The promoter of the proposed Garden Bridge over the Thames in Central London has urged the Government not to withdraw financial support for the project.
The call from Lord Davies, chair of the Garden Bridge Trust, came as the charity revealed that the project’s estimated cost had risen from £175m to £185m.
