The Office for Low Emission Vehicles has awarded local authorities and bus operators across England £30.4m for the purchase of low emission buses and fuelling infrastructure.
In all, the Low Emission Bus Scheme will help pay for 326 buses. The biggest award, of £5m, goes to Transport for London to part-fund 34 electric buses (£4,584,000) and recharging infrastructure (£416,000).
