The DFT has invited councils across England (outside London) to bid for a share of £60m revenue funding for walking and cycling schemes.
The Sustainable Travel Access Fund will support projects over three years from 2017/18 to 2019/20. For individual local authorities the minimum bid is £350,000 and the maximum £1.5m. Joint bids can be for up to £7.5m.
