Highways England should rethink how the proposed Lower Thames Crossing connects to the existing road network south of the Thames, say Kent and Medway councils.

The councils both support the HE’s plans for a tunnel to the east of Gravesend but disagree with the proposed Eastern Southern Link to connect the tunnel with the M2 at junction 1 (LTT5 Feb).
