Fiveways Corner in Croydon, the intersection of the A232 (Stafford Road) and A23 (Purley Way), will lose one of its arms under a plan by Transport for London to ease congestion and improve conditions for pedestrians and cyclists. TfL consulted on two proposals for the junction and surrounding roads last spring and will consult on revised plans this autumn, which respond to some of the concerns raised. Denning Avenue could be diverted to join directly onto the A23 to the north of Fiveways....
