I can answer the letter by Keith Homer on why high-speed rail is not considered a better option to airport expansion with just five words – ‘the wrong kind of snow’ or, more appropriately, ‘the wrong kind of high- speed railway’ (Letters LTT 08 Jan). Let me explain.
