Worksop parking ban sparks access concerns among disabled drivers

Disabled campaigners have attacked Nottinghamshire County Council’s plans to ban parking in pedestrianised areas in Worksop. From 23 November Blue Badge holders will no longer be allowed to park on the pedestrianised areas of Bridge Street and Bridge Place in the town centre.Extra signage and bollards are being installed to alert motorists to the new parking arrangements. Holders of green Special Access Permits will still be able to access Bridge Street between Potter Street and Newcastle...
