Peak District rejects lorry ban call

Opponents of the Highways Agency's plans to build the A628 Mottram-Tintwistle bypass in the Peak District are calling for a lorry ban on the existing A628 to be considered as an alternative. The idea has been backed in a report by the Metropolitan Transport Research Unit for the Campaign to Protect Rural England.
