Additional services have been introduced on the Luton busway and extra bus stops are being explored in moves that could bring passenger numbers closer to the project’s original forecast.
The busway connecting Houghton Regis, Dunstable and Luton opened on 25 September 2013 and features 6.1 miles of segregated bus-only road, of which 4.8 miles is a guided concrete track built on a former railway alignment.
