EDINBURGH CITY Council has announced that it is to extend the deadline for its controversial Tram Developer Contribution Policy beyond the introduction date of the city’s planned tram network, to a time that will be decided by the council’s planning committee at a future date.
The Scottish Executive has committed £500m to the scheme but has publicly said it will be contribute no more in the future.
