Matchday parking restrictions at a Stevenage retail park are confusing, causing motorists to be unfairly fined, according to MP Stephen McPartland.
Free parking at the Roaring Meg Retail Park, managed by ParkingEye, is cut from three hours to 90 minutes on matchdays, but signage did not show when a game was taking place, said McPartland. The time restriction is designed to stop the car park being used by fans attending Stevenage FC at the nearby Lamex Stadium.
