Civil enforcement officer attacked on patrol in Worthing

A carpenter who attacked a civil enforcement officer (CEO) in Worthing, West Sussex, has been jailed. After receiving a penalty charge notice, Dale Fish drove his car at the CEO, before punching and knocking him to the ground. 

The offence occurred on 19 February. Fish was sentenced to 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and actual bodily harm at Chichester Crown Court.
