In-house team plan for Highlands

Highland Council has approved measures to set up an in-house parking enforcement service by 2016, which will cost an estimated £500,000. 

The community services committee agreed on 6 November to deploy eight of the local authority’s nine existing off-street car parking attendants to issue £60 penalty charge notices (PCNs) in Inverness and Fort William.
