Councils prepare patchwork of local transport plans in SE Wales

A patchwork of local transport plans in South East Wales will replace the regional transport plan drawn up by the now defunct South East Wales Transport Alliance (Sewta). 

Sewta and the three other regional transport consortia in Wales were abolished earlier this year after the Welsh Government announced it would direct transport funding to individual local authorities.
