Transport for London and Network Rail have identified a preferred route alignment for Crossrail 2, the project to connect the railways of south-west and north-east London.

TfL and NR envisage Crossrail 2 being a regional railway, connecting lines in Surrey with Hertfordshire. The core of the project would be a new line  linking Wimbledon with Dalston Junction. Intermediate stations are proposed at Tooting Broadway, Clapham Junction, King’s Road Chelsea, Victoria, Tottenham Court...
