New transport plan for Chester

An extended pedestrianised area, a new bus interchange and a review of park-and-ride services are among proposals in a new transport strategy for Chester prepared by Cheshire West and Chester Council. A new city centre bus interchange is planned at Gorse Stacks with a ‘shopper hopper’ shuttle bus connecting it with other parts of the central area.
