Changes to how Integrated Transport Block funding is allocated between councils in England have been announced by the DfT.
They include allocating a proportion of the congestion and road safety elements based on trends rather than need; introducing an element of payment to reflect carbon dioxide emissions from road transport in the area (excluding motorways); new weightings; and a revised road safety dataset.
