Speed cameras set to return to West Mids and Bristol roads

Speed cameras are to make a return to roads in the West Midlands conurbation and in Bristol. 

In the West Midlands councils and the police are drawing up plans to pilot digital fixed cameras and average speed cameras. The conurbation was left without any fixed speed cameras in March this year after funding for the operation was withdrawn. West Midlands Police continued to deploy mobile cameras.
