City of London prefers own contractor to LoHAC for Square Mile road works

The Corporation of London is to continue using its own highways contractor for the vast majority of works in the Square Mile, saying it is cheaper and more familiar with the area’s needs than the consortium holding the London Highways Alliance Contract (LoHAC) for the area.
