Seven of the ten most profitable bus operations in the UK in 2011/12 were Stagecoach subsidiaries, according to an analysis by public transport specialists the TAS Partnership.
The findings are reported in TAS’s Bus Industry Monitor, which analyses the performance of more than 100 local bus companies across the UK.
