Bankrupt Detroit may sell off parking to pay down debts

The US city of Detroit is to auction off its parking lots and on-street meters as part of attempts to unpick the financial mess that led to its bankruptcy last month. Once home to the US car industry, the city has over $11.5bn of insecured debt. The city also looks set to sell the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, city airport and other real estate holdings....
