The Scottish Road Condition Survey says there has been a slight improvement in the overall condition of the country’s local roads over the last five years.
Scotland’s 32 road authorities carry out the annual machine-based survey through the Society of Chief Officers for Transportation in Scotland (SCOTS) and report the statutory performance indicator on road condition.
