Welsh launch national smartcard with UK’s most advanced ITSO infrastructure

Wales Transport Minister Carl Sargeant has launched a public pilot of the government-backed national pay-as-you-go GoCymru travel smartcard. Starting in North Wales, on routes between Wrexham and Bangor, this is due to be rolled out nationally across the country’s 200 bus operators from April, following the analysis of user feedback.
