Baker will allow alterations to BRT route, says Bristol’s mayor

Greater Bristol’s bus rapid transit plans appear on track after Bristol’s elected mayor announced he had reached agreement with transport minister Norman Baker to alter the route.

The DfT has pledged £113m towards the costs of delivering the three-route network, which is being promoted by Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire councils.

But the future of the plans have been in doubt ever since George Ferguson was elected as the city’s mayor last November....
