More staff to push Bristol rail plans

The four local authorities in the West of England area are recruiting more rail expertise to drive the Greater Bristol Metro rail plans. North Somerset Council is to appoint a project manager for phase one of the project and Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils will each appoint a rail officer to help develop the project business case.
