A £26m proposal to move Rochester railway station nearer to the Kent town’s centre and the proposed Riverside development is to be considered by Medway Council.
A council spokesman said that the development would be built on part of Corporation Street car park. “It would mean losing 103 car park spaces, which will be replaced by a new car park with 134 spaces nearby.”
