Give us the power to veto Better Bus Area bids, say operators

Bus operators with a large presence in a local market should have the ability to veto a local transport authorities’ application for Better Bus Area funding, industry association the Confederation of Passenger Transport has told the DfT.

The CPT’s comments come in response to the DfT’s consultation on reforming Bus Service Operators Grant in England, which closed last month.
