Replace rail franchise with a co-operative, Welsh ministers told

franchising of rail services in Wales should be scrapped, with services being handed to a not-for-dividend company,  according to a new report.

Rail commentator and academic Paul Salveson was commissioned to write the report by the Co-operative Party (Labour’s sister party), rail union ASLEF, Co-operatives & Mutuals Wales, and Co-operatives UK.
