Zipcar has reported a 41% increase in year-on-year earnings in the quarter ending in September.
Zipcar’s earnings before interested, tax, deprecation and amortisation (EBITDA) were $6.5m compared to $4.6m in the same period in 2011.
Revenue growth of 15% to $78.2m resulted primarily from an 18% increase in global membership to over 767,000 members. Usage revenue per vehicle per day was unchanged year-on-year at $65.
