Milton Keynes Council is re-negotiating its public-private partnership with Mouchel so the highway management and back-office services it delivers are brought back in-house early.
Having taken account of Mouchel’s troubled financial position, which it expects will see Mouchel sold on, the council has decided to buy an early exit from the contract, which was due to expire at the end of 2015.
