Street wardens in Birmingham’s city centre are having a significant impact in providing a safe and pleasant environment for residents, businesses and visitors to the area. Since their appointment in April, in the Southside district of the city, there has been a notable drop in street begging, improved cleanliness, and a fall in litter and graffiti in the district.
