No action to be taken on cancelled penalties in Leicester

Leicester City Council’s mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby, has ruled out disciplinary action against the authority’s chief operating officer, who was accused of helping to cancel parking tickets for a former cabinet member. Soulsby undertook a personal investigation into top officer Andy Keeling in cancellation of parking penalties issued to Cllr Rob Wann when he held the ceremonial lord mayor’s role during 2010.
