New York subway signs up to provide wi-fi as TfL launches at first stations

Los Angeles-headquartered Boingo Wireless has signed an agreement with US East Coast company Transit Wireless to manage and operate wi-fi internet services across the whole New York City subway network. Rollout will take five years. The move comes as Transport for London has begun bringing wi-fi to its underground stations.
