Stagecoach is attempting to reach a deal with Arriva that would see it sell its 30-vehicle operation in Huddersfield.
The Perth-based group acquired the operation in December 2005 when it bought Yorkshire Traction. The group employs 90 people in Huddersfield.
“We can confirm we are currently in negotiations with Arriva regarding the potential sale of our Huddersfield operation,” a Stagecoach spokesman told Transit. “Discussions may or may not lead to a sale.
