Police hub taps into transport CCTV

A £14m CCTV hub will give British Transport Police (BTP) and other UK police forces access to 33,000 cameras at train and tube stations across the capital.

As well as downloading video evidential packages and to assist in the identification of suspects, the hub can also track individuals in real-time, helping police monitor unfolding crimes or suspicious behaviour.
