The UK’s first workplace parking levy  (WPL) will generate £2m less than expected. Firms in Nottingham with 11 or more parking spaces are eligible for the levy, which came into force on 1 April. But Nottingham City Council said that only 28,000 parking spaces have been registered for the levy, 10,000 less than was expected before licensing began last October. As a result the levy, set at £288 a year for each space, will bring in just over £8m in its first year,...
