Employers in Nottingham have made a range of responses to the UK’s first workplace parking levy scheme, for which charges will begin next week (1 April).
John Dowson, head of policy and representation at Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, which has opposed the levy, said some employers were absorbing the levy, others were passing on the costs to employees in full or in part.
