London Underground has advertised a closure notice for Watford Town station on the Metropolitan Line. Closure will only proceed on completion of the Croxley Rail Link, which will allow Metropolitan Line trains to connect into the disused Croxley Green branch line and then onto Network Rail’s existing network to serve Watford High Street and terminate at Watford Junction.
