Stagecoach accuses Edinburgh council of stifling innovation as Hovercraft plan is rejected

Stagecoach has hit out at Edinburgh City Council after it refused planning permission for facilities needed to run a cross-Forth hovercraft service. Plans for the service have now been abandoned with Stagecoach accusing the council of “stifling innovation”.
