Opponents of East Sussex County Council’s proposed Bexhill to Hastings link road are hoping that the release of two critical reports about the scheme will scupper its chances of securing DfT funding.
The reports, commissioned by the Hastings Alliance for Sustainable Transport Solutions (the ‘Hastings Alliance’), say the road’s business case is flawed and the council has failed to properly investigate a package of non-road investments.
