Manchester and London vie for Smartphone travel leadership

Manchester and London are vying to become the UK’s smartphone public transport commuter capital with new schemes to deliver high quality real time information to users.

Working with technology service company Logica, Realtime information  specialist Vix-ACIS and First Manchester buses, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) plans a 2012 rollout of a ‘personal satnav’.
