Residents ignore Dartford toll discount

Just 13% of residents eligible for discounts on the Dartford Crossing tolls have registered to receive one, according to Essex County Council. People who pay Council Tax to Thurrock or Dartford councils qualify for discounts to use the crossing. But Essex says only 20,000 residents have joined the scheme, compared with 150,000 residents who would be eligible.
