A new 1,000-space car park was opened at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 26 May. The Tower car park, which took 12 months to build, will be managed for the next 30 years by operator VINCI Park as part of its £9m investment in the design, build, finance and operate (DBFO) contract for Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The main contractor was VINCI Construction. The car park was designed by architect 3d Reid with Waterman Structures acting as the structural engineer.
