One of the final pieces of the Local Enterprise Partnership jigsaw was put in place last week when ministers approved a partnership for the Humber area. The Government has now authorised 35 LEPs covering 96%  of England’s population. It hasn’t been the easiest picture to put together – indeed, there are one or two holes created by ill-fitting pieces and some authorities have opted to join more than one partnership.
