The neighbouring London boroughs of Croydon and Lambeth are to share resources in a bid to catch disabled badge fraudsters.
Croydon has enlisted the support of Lambeth’s fraud investigation officer, who will prepare evidence packs, act as a professional witness in court and give guidance and training to CEOs (PR Oct 2010). During this year the officer will spend a total of four months working at Croydon, for periods of two weeks at a time.
