The redeveloped uni-link transport interchange at Southampton University’s Highfield campus has opened. As a major transport hub for the city, the £1.5 million project was jointly funded by the University, from its Student Centredness budget, in partnership with Southampton City Council and the Go Ahead Group.
The new interchange has space for three buses, real-time information, a well-lit covered waiting area, a refreshment kiosk, and welfare facilities for the uni-link drivers....
