Removing M4 bus lane will just shift the jams elsewhere

I am aghast at the decision of the DfT to abolish the M4 bus lane. Whilst I quite agree it was probably introduced as a ‘War on the motorist’ measure, so beloved of the last Government, its abolition will simply make a more difficult journey for the thousands of coach passengers who use it each day and car drivers will gain absolutely nothing.

However fast the J.Bonnington Jagworths and Toad of Toad Halls hammer down the M4, at the end of the bus lane, they still have to filter into...
