Councillors in Powys have recommended confidentiality clauses in employment contracts, after the controversial move of a council officer to Veolia Cymru soon after the council awarded bus contracts to the French group.
The panel of four councillors found that the council’s tendering process had been sound, and that prompt action had been taken to protect the process’s integrity after Tony Goodman accepted a job as Veolia’s general manager for Powys (Transit October 19)....
