Cross-Thames cable car

The UK’s first urban cable car system could be operating in time for the London Olympics. Transport for London has published plans for a cable car link over the river Thames between the Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks. It would link two of the major Games venues, the O2 and the Excel.
