 
				
				
			
			The Liberal Democrats have criticised redundancy and early retirement payments at the Department for Transport under the previous Labour government.
A recent Freedom of Information request reveals that over the last three years at least 33 staff received more than £200,000 each as a result of redundancy, compulsory retirement or compulsory severance.
